I am good at both floor and wall tiling complete with all preparations and finishes. When I was starting out I used professional tilers but soon realised I was more reliable, quicker and had a better eye for detail than the majority of tilers I was using. I supply and fit both internal and external doors. When fitting new internal doors I often fit new architraves and skirtings to give a clean, fresh look.
If you have the doors and ironmongery, I am happy to come and give you a price for hanging only.

All types of doors re-set, re-hung and re- aligned. Is your door: not closing, not opening, dragging on the flooring, too tight or rubbing, needing planed after new carpets laid. UPVC doors and windows repaired and replaced. Replacement locks, handles, hinges and whole doors and frames replaced and reset. If you have any problem with a door give me a call. Old doors taken away if required.

Usually I remove old floor coverings and repair loose, damaged or squeaky floorboards before I start laying new flooring. Replacing or completely renewing the skirting boards gives a clean, fresh finish with no beading required – beading around the edge of flooring is often simpler and cheaper but can make spaces feel smaller and more cluttered.

I am NOT an electrician. But I am happy to change a plug, light fitting, light switch or replace a socket.
Today by law any new wiring has to be done by a certified electrician and I am happy to recommend a good certified electrician.

I am NOT a plumber or heating engineer and NEVER deal with gas. But I would happily describe myself as a kitchen and bathroom fitter. I am very experienced at both minor jobs such as changing taps or shower screens as well as more substantial work including replacing sinks, toilets, wash hand basins and baths.
I can usually quickly fix a leaking water or waste pipe or un-block a blockage. For more in depth or complex plumbing requirements I can recommend a reliable and trustworthy corgi registered plumber or heating engineer because I work closely with both regularly.

These days I take out almost as much dry wall as I put in with many people creating more open plan living spaces.
